JHS’ Lee earns full athletic scholarship

Jacksonville High School senior Samuel Lee has earned an athletic scholarship to play golf at Illinois Central College in Peoria this fall. He will receive a full tuition waiver. Lee signed his letter of intent in January and plans to pursue a degree in secondary education. He was the 2006 CS8 Conference golf champion and the 2007 CS8 Conference runner-up.
His parents are Joe and Nora Lee of Jacksonville.
